studying PIC today. i still cant stay away from the net D:anyway, found my motivation but i think it will only work for a while..
phoon send email for the e learning thing abt things t study for e learning..
(i) Chemical symbols of Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Halogens (Fluorine, Chlorine, Bromine, Iodine)
(ii) Naturally occurring isotopes for Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen
(iii) Bonding and valence electrons eg. carbon has 4 valence electrons and it is able to form 4 bonds.
Electronic configuration will not be tested.
(iv) Chemical & physical properties.
(v) Allotropes & their properties.
(vi) Occurrence (but no need to memorise the structure of cellulose and cell membrane)
(vii) For the topic on "Oxygen", no need to study the chemical equations on production of ozone, removal of ozone & ozone depletion.
(viii) Preparation (but no need to memorise the chemical equations for the prepartions of halogens)
(ix) Biological importance (but no need to memorise the structures of DNA, RNA, nucleotides & ATP)
(x) Applications or Uses
(xi) Question 3 of e-tutorial on "Chemistry of Non-Metals" is not tested.
this is like most of the slides lo....and it's considered few to him-.-
gna die cos there's a lot to memoriseD: and formulas...
